HSE Compliance has never been more important.

Are things now really starting to change & the answer is YES. Some days you ask yourself how many operators especially young farmers have to be killed before Farmers wake up. The answer for some is unless it knocks their own door NEVER. These words spoken & found on the HSE press release after Harry was killed say it all. Speaking after the hearing HSE inspector Roxana Barker said. “ The defendant failed to implement and monitor safe systems of work. This young man’s death could’ve been prevented if the employer had manage the risks involved and ensure the work equipment was properly maintained. “Many trailers are only used at harvest time therefore the failure to maintain is likely to be widespread throughout the industry. Farmers are therefore reminded to ensure they adequately maintained all work equipment Including any which is not in mainstream use”
