Covering goods while transporting by agricultural trailer.

Agri trailer towing.

Regulation 100 section 2 of the Road Vehicles [Construction and Use] Regulations 1986. There have been a number of amendments since 1986 but none of them pertain to regulation 100 so it remains in force and it states:

(2) The load carried by a motor vehicle or trailer shall at all times be so secured, if necessary by physical restraint other than its own weight, and be in such a position, that neither danger nor nuisance is likely to be caused to any person or property by reason of the load or any part thereof falling or being blown from the vehicle or by reason of any other movement of the load or any part thereof in relation to the vehicle.

In other words no grain or any other product should blow out of the top of a

trailer body due to air currents or fall out due to road conditions. It is up to you to decide what sheeting you use but the effect should be complete containment.
